Shift Buddy is a free web application that provides:
- Quick reference guidance for common care scenarios
- Personal journal functionality
- Reminders about care plans and workplace policies
3. Use of Service
You agree to:
- Use Shift Buddy only as a personal reminder tool
- Always follow your workplace policies and procedures
- Always refer to care plans, behaviour plans, and MAR
- Never record client/participant identifying information
- Use your professional judgment in all care situations
- Call emergency services (000) when required
You agree NOT to:
- Use Shift Buddy as a substitute for professional medical advice
- Use it as an official documentation system
- Store any client/participant information
- Rely solely on Shift Buddy for clinical decisions
- Use it in any unlawful manner
4. Professional Responsibility
You acknowledge that:
- You are a qualified care professional responsible for your actions
- Shift Buddy does not replace your training, judgment, or workplace obligations
- You must follow all relevant Australian care standards and regulations
- You are responsible for documenting care in official systems
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Shift Buddy is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy or completeness of content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Suitability for any particular purpose
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shift Buddy and its creators shall not be liable for any:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or information
- Professional or clinical outcomes
- Workplace incidents or consequences
