Steps to Follow

1. Check if this task is safe for one person.
2. Never lift outside training or care plan.
3. Read the mobility/manual handling section.
4. Use correct equipment (hoist, slide sheet, etc.).
5. If unsafe or equipment unavailable, do not proceed alone.
6. Call colleague/supervisor/RN.
7. Report near-misses or injuries.
